S.L.A.M.dunk anti-collision programming kit, 3D cartography, electronic sensors and algorithms, accelerates the creation of applications advanced navigation for drones and robotic platforms.

Parrot S.L.A.M.dunk gives access to a set of optimally integrated sensors to provide data without latency time, synchronized through intuitive APIs. Its high-resolution, wide-angle stereoscopic camera generates a depth map of the environment that allows you to identify obstacles and measure distances. It also integrates an advanced algorithm of S.L.A.M. (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping Algorithm), which allows 3D mapping and simultaneous location in space. The integrated algorithms use the data from the onboard sensors to calculate in real time the position in the space without GPS and to map in three dimensions the environment in clouds of points.

The Parrot S.L.A.M.dunk is the ideal solution for programmers to create advanced anti-collision algorithms for drones and robots (specially designed for those using Ubuntu and have a ROS SDK). This kit contains the necessary elements for the development of anti-collision algorithms: integrated sensors, a depth chart and an occupation grid that identifies obstacles in space and has an NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor.
