Filming requires a quick installation and a wide variety of camera settings. Ronin-MX has been designed to be applied in cameras used daily in filming around the world, and SmoothTrack ™ algorithms ensure that movements are fluid in every configuration. The repositioned battery improves balance while the stability is enhanced thanks to a mount that secures the camera in place above and below. The silent motors prevent the microphones from filming from picking up the noise of the motor.

Powerful and Accurate

Designed to withstand strong acceleration using its powerful engines and IMUs, the Ronin-MX has been designed to maintain stability and preserve horizontality when placed in an aircraft or vehicle. When mounted on the M600 air system, it communicates directly with the DJI flight controller allowing you to stabilize for a smoother recording.


Freedom of movement

A slip ring allows the Ronin-MX to rotate 360º continuously when mounted on an aircraft or vehicle, further expanding the creative options. This is further enhanced by the increase in the vertical tilt axis of 90º perpendicular to the floor going up to 135º.Ronin as the three modes of operation and SmoothTrack are also present giving the filmmakers a wide range of angles and movements.

Wireless Transmission and Control

The Ronin-MX is compatible with Lightbridge 2, providing a long-range HD video transmission from the air to the ground up to 5km (3.1miles) away. Combined with the DJI Focus and the Focus Expansion Module, the focus or aperture can also be controlled remotely. An optional add-on to operate the camera's shutter allows you to control recording on a variety of aerial cameras.

Integral Control Application

Using DJI Assistant and the specific application Assistant for iOS and Android allows a complete personalization of the Ronin-MX and its behavior if it is connected to the Lightbridge 2. The DJI GO application can be used to control the flight of the M600 including the Intelligent Flight Modes, Remote Control Modes, move the stabilizer and watch the HD video streaming live from the camera.

The structure moves the Ronin-MX's battery back and forth. This centers the weight of the camera, minimizing instability when flying forward.

Manufactured mainly in light magnesium, the Ronin-MX weighs only 2.1kg (4.6lb).
