Zenmuse X7 Super 35 compact with an integrated stabilizer designed for professional cinema shooting. It incorporates a 24 MP CMOS sensor with a dynamic range of 14 steps that allows recording in CinemaDNG in 6K and in Apple ProRes in 5.2K. In addition, it is capable of continuous burst shooting at 20 fps and snapshots at 24 MP.

The integrated DL-MOUNT mount allows you to switch between the four available fixed lenses quickly. DJI Cinema Color System faithfully preserves colors to facilitate easier, seamless post-processing.

Super 35 sensor with high reading speed makes it possible to record RAW at 6K / 30 fps and 3.9K / 59.94 fps. With a pixel size up to 3.91µm and 26.6mm sensor diagonal when recording video. Additionally, the X7's SNR is 44 dB, and the tonal range is up to 9.41 bits.

DJI DL-Mount System

Taking advantage of new FSI-Cu technology, the X7's sensor has a narrower interconnect zone, allowing light to reach the sensor area even at wide angles and increasing photosensitivity. This enables a more compact lens mount to be used on the sensor while maintaining image quality. The DL-Mount's registration distance is less than 17mm - about 1/3 the size of a PL-Mount. The compactness of this mount allows the X7 to weigh only about 630g, including lens.

DL lenses

DJI offers four fixed lenses compatible with the DL-Mount system, with focal lengths between 16 and 50 mm and resolutions of up to 8K. Made of lightweight carbon fiber and designed by some of the world's best teams of optics experts, all four lenses are packed with advanced technologies designed specifically for the X7's high-end image sensor.

DJI Cinema Color System the new color system consists of a new D-Log curve and in the RGB D-Gamut color space, up to 15 steps of dynamic range can be encoded, 2 more than with the Zenmuse X5S. Even in low light conditions, the X7 can retain an impressive level of detail in bright and dark areas, giving more scope for post-production creativity. The D-Gamut covers the entire DCI-P3 color space and a larger green shade space.

With 3D-LUT color, skin tones will make smooth transitions even if they contain large exposure differences. When designing D-Gamut, we considered manually recording the color, thus preventing skin tones from turning yellowish when editing without 3D LUT or color management.

In addition to the official DJI LUTs, they can be used with any video application. It is compatible with photo interpretation applications such as Pix4D that allow you to analyze and manage from precision agriculture to the evolution in works or the inspection of industrial elements.
